Personal Info

I graduated from the University of Southern California in May 2007 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering. I studied a healthy mix of CS and EE (focusing mainly on digital system design), and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at USC. Fight on!

After graduation, I went to work for Apple, Inc., as an engineer on the iTunes Store. I worked, with a great team of five others, on personalization and recommendation features. Apple’s a great place to work, but after only seven short months I left to pursue my startup company, 280 North, full time. Francisco Tolmasky, Tom Robinson, and I are setting out to change the way people build applications for the web, and hopefully we’ll have some announcements to make soon.

Site Info

This site is authored and maintained by me, and is hosted by Media Temple (on their new Grid Server). The site is powered largely by Wordpress 2.0, and a custom theme I authored. Everything not generated dynamically (PHP + MySQL) was hand coded by myself with the help of SubEthaEdit and a little bit of Photoshop. Every page should validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict, and mostly valid CSS (with the exception of the opacity effects).
